Just a little rose in the bell jar =].  Remind you of anything? hehe

This can be made into a pendant.  The whole piece measures about 1 inch tall and is handmade from polymer clay.

Underwater Cake

I totally…kinda went crazy with this XD hehe.  It was soooo fun making this and I loved using all these colors! :D  I’ve been wanting to make something underwater with corals and shells for a while and let’s say Finding Nemo was a big inspiration!  I have always loved how vibrant the colors are in Pixar movies so I wanted to try doing that! :D I hope I kinda achieved that!

This piece measures about 1.5 inches tall and is 100% handmade from polymer clay.  It took me hmmm…about 6-7 hours.

I hope you guys like it as much as I had fun making it! :D

My friend helped put a slideshow together for my AIW piece! Yay~ =]

After a little over a month it is FINALLY DONE!!!

I have always loveeed Alice in Wonderland, even the cartoon Disney version (even though some of my friends think it’s really creepy haha).  They never really showed Mad Hatter’s workroom (only a little glimpse of it in the recent movie) so I wanted to make one based on what I think it would look like.

I have to say, the part I love most in the entire room is the sketches and crumpled paper part =].  It was so fun thinking up hat designs and making the little pins to pin the sketches to the wall.  I also *heart* the mini purple chair ^___^ it’s sooo cuteee.

The hardest part is probably the tiny stool.  GAAHHHH the legs kept falling off (since it is made from wire, so thin it wouldn’t stick right)!! X_X…and it was hard to shape the wood into a circle.  I tried cutting it with scissors and apparently too much pressure made the wood crack *siiigh* sooo yay in the end, I drilled tiny holes into the bottom of the wooden seat and applied some glue to the tip of the wires to keep it in place.

All in all, I hope you guys love this piece!! I had sooo much fun making it (even though it took me forever…and I lost motivation halfway through…and had artist’s block…and *complaincomplaincomplain*) ^o^.

Hey everyone!

Hope everyone is having a great Thursday!  So if you have been following my blog or dA, you might have seen my posts of my Mad Hatter workroom piece.  Well it is close to done but I need help! I’m kind of stuck because I feel like the walls should have more things but I can’t seem to think of what else to put.

Here’s a WIP so far.  I need to add stuff onto the mantle and walls mostly.

What else would you expect to see in Mad Hatter’s workroom? What items should I add?
